Surprized that the Eagle from the SS Kasserne in Nuerberg - Murrell Baracks was not pictured ? Not my pictures , but my brother was stationed there .
Interesting to note that the hallway to the right leading up to the offices - boast something like a 10 meter = 35 foot large round floor Swastika - red,white black fine tile inlay work !!! Got caught trying to take pictures of it .
The large wall eagle outside over the entrance was completly taken down . It had surprizingly just survived the aircraft strafing during the war in 45 and the bullet holes were left there intentionaly as a reminder , ... so was the floor Swastika so the soldiers could walk all over it all the time . The Amerikans left and the damaged fasade has now been repaired .

Amongst the awards found in the vault at Schloss Klessheim was this German Cross with diamonds that is up for auction .
