pair of iron crosses

I have an iron cross second class and an iron cross first class screwback and I was wondering if they are original? I will start off with views of the second class cross.

The first class cross is not maker marked.

What is the manufacturer's mark on the ring of the EK 2, I can see that there is one from the photo.

The EK 1 looks to be a Souval, don't know if its pre- or post-1945. Read up on that manufacturer:

The EK 2 ring is marked either 6 or 9.

The EK II in Schinkel version is a fake and the EK I is an original Souval.
1939 Schinkel EK's never had a maker's mark.

Daniel, I have always assumed the second class cross to be too large and too heavy to be a schinkel eventhough it looks like one. Dimensions are: 43.82mm X 43.73mm. The swaztica is 7.2mm and the weight of the cross is: 16.7grams without ribbon.
