Since posts and threads are so scattered concerning Cloth EK1s. I thought it might be good to start a thread on them, to have kind of a central place for these to be viewed and compared.

On page 307 of 'The Iron Time' 2nd edition there is a nice period photo of a cloth EKI, with a collector's example offered as well. The cross offered on this page shows one line of beading inside the bullion 'flange', and a dark gray- colored swasi and date. It's hard to see any detail of the swasi and date on the period photo's EK.
