Is there any way to find info on soldiers that were awarded ek2s. I know my Grandfather got one in ww1 but know very little about it, I would love to find out where, when and how. Thanks Ron.

no official documentation as I know of. Check his feldpost, they usually wrote about their awards there, or even posing on photos.
