Yep, still not all that close...but closer. All the more reason to hang on to an original like grim death. Sell the house, car, wife kids..but never your Juncker RK That is actually a very sharp looking repro. One of the more nicely finished ones I've seen.

Yes, overall the frame shape is incorrect and for a collector of Knight's Crosses it is obvious! However, for the poor beginner who may rely on (his) memory of what 'points' to look for these are hitting those 'points' very closely.

Ribbing 'direction'....Excellent and this is a point not generally discussed!

Again, John, this is a bad as it's gets. This is even worse than some of the Latvian S&L attemps and in several respects even worse than the dipped ring.

If that's all THEY can do, we still have a lot of breathing room. I agree that this (and other forums) are used for educational purpose, as well as books and other references. There's nothing one can do about..
