I know these are difficult to judge, did a forum search a few times already, but they are all different....

I've seen this same backing on most bullion breast eagles and some cloth DK's as well, and many other period cloth insignia.

I agree it looks good. I am usually really negative when these turn up on the forum but I like this one.

Thanks for the opinions, I have put it in my display.

It has been said before, these pieces are extremely hard to authenticate because they are al different.

But, initial feeling was good, combined with your comments I think it's a good one.
