    Deutches Kreuz: Show us yours!

Hi, mates. Now that i have a very own DKiG(allthough a 57' one), I'd like to know all i can about them.. So, what I'm asking is quite simple; could those members who own original 39' and 57' pieces of this beautifull award, post pictures and explain the differences between individual makers and the quality differences between 57's and 39's. Anything you can post or teach me will be very much appreciated! I'm doing this because i'm curious and mainly becaus I seriously mean to a 39' to accompany my 57' one
Here is mine, as a refreshment to the memory

ps. Sorry about the typo in the subject

            Hi Blitz,

I agree with you, DK are really wonderful decorations, one of my best preferred badges.

knowledge about this decoration today is very hard, to say to you the superficial differences between every marks is not very difficult, this you can see yourself for examples in this site. but there are so good replys that today is not enough to recognize from how is looking . you must know its material of every firm, their flaw dies, dimentions and weight, etc.etc....
this knowledges you can get ONLY when you had in your hands many of these badges, goods and reproductions and a good and sincerely expert that teach you the secrets of them. but this is no problem when one person WANT to learn something, slowly you can arrive to be an expert.

what I can say today to you is : don't buy a DK if the seller is not totally serious and with rules or garanties. you can find very nice pieces from good dealers ( today Detlev has 2 DK's).

Show us what you want to buy and we will be very happy to help you .
