    Ekii 128

The discovery of a couple of 113 EK2's I got 25 years ago being fakes has got me digging out some other EK2's I've had in my collection for 25 years +.

    Here's a 128 S Jablonski

I think the frames were polished to hard in the production proces.
Maybe it has been made on monday morning

Mike, can you check if the core is magnetic?

The core is very magnetic - it's pulling the North pole down south as I type.

There is one thing that puzzles me about this EK - the ring and in particular the "spur" where the ring is sealed - I guess this is just sloppy workmanship, but does it appear on other 128 EK2's?

                Thanks, you couldn't be clearer
I just asked because I had once a "128" with a sink core and paint looked like it could be his twin brother.

I don't have that solder residu on my "128"'s.
But I see nothing that would indicate it has been done postwar.
Those monday mornings also exist 65 years ago!
