    double makers mark ek1

    hi every one

i recently got hold of a load of items of ebay like a job lot so to speak and in it was a boxed IC 1st class double maker marked L/52 MM 20
and a boxed kvk 1st class boxed..i no the kvk isnt that rare but how rare are double mm on an IC 1st class and what is the tru value of one of these items as it is in near mint condition and retains all frosting on the back and front....and do you think an item like this will rise in value in the long run????
i am intending to keep these item in my collection its just that i have never seen an IC 1 like this before
thanks for all your input in advance

Maker mark 20 and L/52 belong to the same maker Zimmerman and they do show up time to time. To post pictures, just scroll to the bottom of the screen that you are posting and you will Additional Options and under that Manage Attachments, Upload your attachments here and when you click submitt make sure that you are using the one at the bottom of the Additional Options block, if you use the one above all that will post is your comments. The rest of your questions I will let someone else answer. Jim

      Harley,

A Zimmermann in this condition is a desirable piece, yes, and will increase in value over the long run. Zimmermanns with their full frosting are very hard to find. Depending on which dealer is selling it, it could cost anywhere from between $550.00 up to $700.00, cased. Uncased, I would guess between $300.00 up to $450.00.
