    Raised Swastika

I borrowed Robert Pierce's L13 (with his permission) with raised swas and used my Round 3 with raised swas for comparison. To my untrained eye I believe they are from the same maker as the dates match, and the 12 o'clock arm matches. I have only shown the front view. Appreciate any comments on whether I am right or wrong (sometimes Chief's do make mistakes). Jim

Is it ME, or do the dates not match at all?.....Also, the soldered ring looks to be in a completely different position on both.

    Bob.

P.S: I've never known a Chief to be wrong.....only misinformed.....
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.....

Jim, you sure you have the correct pictures attached? I'm sure your eyes aren't THAT bad ...

          Jim ,

You never have to worry about using any of my photos for any purpose, excluding for selling something with. Kidding, Chief.

There is some similarity in the elevated/platformed swasis, that's for sure. But, the frames, well...I've circled a few areas just on the top half of the crosses that show differences. The outside corner beading, the inside corner beading, the hump on one frame for the jump ring, the other frame without the hump, etc...

          Nice try, Chief

Well at least I did put in a disclaimer about making mistakes. I did look at the corners, date and they looked the same to me. I also thought the swas was located in the same area. Oh well better luck next time, I guess. Jim

You did good, Jim. The frosting on the beading of mine makes it really hard to see detail.
