    Convex EKI

Here's a cross I bought back in 1973 which looks as if the core is made of brass.

I have always been very happy with this cross and have never been tempted to upgrade it.

    Can someone identify the maker?

    Many thanks.

      Hi Stan,

have you tried a magnet on it?
My guess is taht it's a copper-plated iron core.

      Regards,
      Ben

        Hi Ben,

        No, it's definitely non-magnetic.

        Regards,

        Stan

                Thanks for testing Stan.
Usually the unmagnetic crosses have a brass core, and when advertised as "unmagnetic with copper core" they are usually copper-plated.

                Nice cross!!

                Regards,
                Ben
