This is a stupid/lazy question - do most Deumer mm3 EK 1's have a soft maker mark?
The reason I ask is that I have a couple of L/11 marked Deumers and the mark is very strong and clear on these.

Robert, that was sort of the answer I was expecting; I assume that as time went on the dies became worn and the mm's deteriorated accordingly - this is definitely obvious in other makers of all awards. Browsing back in our archived threads you will come across examples of soft and hard strikes of the Deumer maker mark, both '3' and 'L/11'. I'm still looking for a nice '3' to 'complete' my Deumer collection, if that's possible.
Yes, I've wondered if Juncker went to their 'SW68' stamp because the old layed-back 'L' stamp went bad, or lost. ???
