Well, it's not the item from someone's mint-stuff collection. It is said to be found with a metal detector near Danzig/Gdansk area, where thousands of German troops fought by the end of the war. And they lost a whole lot of good stuff, too.

Please keep in mind, that this item could have been buried for over 60 years, which surely influenced its overall condition.

There is a serious argument over this cross in my country, and your comments are welcome. If you are rejecting this item's genuineness, then try to give some proff why it is fake. So far your comments look not too "scientific", I'd say.

                      Brgds,
                      Michal

It is damaged in such a way that any recognizable features are not visible. No way to check what maker or match it to any known original. I also find it hard to imagine what would have smashed it so perfectly on all the important features. It has all the warnings of a fake.

real or fake, who would payed a lot for this cross? I really want a spanish cross but not in this condition... and if I wanted a beat up cross like this I wouldnt payed more than 20-30euro MAX.
