    New EK2 mm120

This is another pick up from that veteran's estate lot that yielded my German Cross in cloth. This is a good looking EK2 marked 120 on the ring for Franz Petzl.

        Nice example Steve.
I like the makers mark on these EKs, not alot to confuse it with!

That was a quick response! Thanks. I was just about to post a shot of the mark, which is very easy to read and well defined.

Sorry Steve, jumped in a bit quick. The craftsmen making these crosses had a good technique when it can to ring stamping, I don't think I've ever seen a Petzl maker mark mis-aligned, seen a few double marked but never any wonky stamps. Has anyone else?

Again steve a nice cross , & as adrian says there is no mistaking the makers mark . This makers mark must be the clearest & best outhere ain't it ?

Thanks guys. Yes the mark is readable from across the room! I picked this out of a Canadian veteran's bring back lot. He had a bunch of stuff like Luftshultz medals, Blue Division medals, KVK2's. Eastern front etc. I plucked this one out of a group of mostly unmarked EK2s, along with an L/11 EK2 spange and that German Cross in cloth. A good score.

I've been noticing the lesser amount of even the easier to find EKII's offered online the last few months. More and more new collectors are coming into this arena and grabbing whatever they can find. I wonder how it will be, say, a year from now?
