Unknown KC + Silver CCC holder

    Dear All,
I'd ask for your support to identify this young KC holder.

Does some of you know who is this officer ?

    Thanks in advance for support

    Marco

Why would a KC holder wear the IC2, as if he just got it (which I doubt was the case)?

Maybe he just wanted to show off wearing all his crosses

I guess when you have got them - show them....

If you can get a close up of the shoulder boards, perhaps the Regiment Number may narrow the search down.

Looks like a Hauptmann, but I could be wrong

              Unknown?

              Gentlemen,
It looks like RKT Joachim Hundert, Fhr. 5./GR 124 but I cannot be sure. Perhaps another member would have a better idea.
              Regards,
              Dick

Is that an EK2 around his neck?

                      Hundert?

If it is Hundert I know for a fact that he died wearing his RK. My good friend used to own his medals, documents, photos, death notice and a small piece of the sharpnel that hit him in the throat. The RK was slightly damaged and there were some stains on the neck ribbon. He received all of the items from Hundert's sister in the 1980's while he was stationed in Germany. Hope that this helps.
                      Regards,
                      Dick

Just on a side note, what were the orders regarding the wearing of multiple EK'S.
Say if the soldier was issued the EK1 & EK2 and RK would he wear all of them at the same time like in this pic or would the higher award superced the lower award ?

he would wear them just like in this picture....but for the EK2 only the ribbon and not the medal.

                              Hundert.

                              Gentlemen,
Maybe this is NOT Hundert who was awarded his Iron Crosses on different dates. Could this photo show a soldier who for some supreme act of heroism had been awarded all three of the crosses at the same time? This could explain the 2nd class award being worn in this manner and the 1st class looking a bit crowded on his left breast pocket and a 2nd class in the place of the RK. Just a thought....
                              Regards,
                              Dick
