    My EK1 on E-stand - please help

Is there something wrong with it that I am not seeing? Cant understand why no one wants it? It is the cheapest EK1 I have seen.

I had the cross discussed and was told it was good.

Can an expert please shed some light on this for me as I am really puzzeled.

Hey there, I can only suggest, clearer pictures, at the correct angle, pictures taken at a slant suggest something is trying to be hidden, im not saying your doing this, dont get me wrong, thats just my thoughts anyway Hope your cross sells

Didnt think of that, Thanks, I will take your advice and take some better pics when I get home this evening.

Would never try to cheat someone, I have already sold some high value items on e-stand like DKIG etc and all buyers were very happy.

Well i feel there are a few things that wont be helping your sale
1 these unmarked Deumer pieces are fairly common and just dont seem to be that desirable to collectors.
2 Its not in bad condition but its not in the greatest which is always a decider on picking an Ek1
3 I dont think there is a great deal of cash kicking about at present, Most of the guys on here will have mortgages cars houses kids etc etc the cost of most of these has risen sharply in the last couple of months and interest on the E-stand appears to have slackened off.
4 The personalisation as far as im concerned wouldnt add any price to the piece, Its impossible to work out when it was done so i would just ignore it.
5 i really would suggest getting better pictures of this one try taking the photos in natural light and on a white sheet of paper.
        Good luck with the sale

Trust me, id NEVER accuse anybody of trying to cheat anybody in here, I do apologise deeply if it came across like I was trying to say that, trust me I wasnt atall. Your cross is nice, I agree with James, there isnt a great deal of cash kicking about around these times.

I think the disposeable cash issue is a big factor. Here in the US, as we know, confidence is down, and most of us are hoarding our money. I typically was spending an average of $500 a month on toys. Whether it be edged weapons or badges, this was my routine. Not so much anymore. Unless something of mine moves, then nothing new coming in. Not until the financial outlook improves. I put a nice saber on the estand for $340 and it didn't sell. Sign of the times. The nice part is that many members sell pieces for what they paid and are not looking for a huge profit margin we see from dealers. In the last 6 moths, I purchased some great KM pieces at excellent prices...all from fellow members.
