    RK Swords Oaks on ebay

For you RK guys out there. This one is on fleabay. Not an RK collector so don't know if this one is good or bad.

Anyway, thought it might interest some of you.

Both are very bad copies. And come with a good story.

Very very bad copies, look at those fools bidding over it, I used to be one of them, until I found this place!

and id kept private so no warning the bidders. When the seller keeps the bidders id's private it is always bad, you don't even have to know the field.

Oh no, how do you retract bids on an item?!

I didnt actually bid on that lol. You do see alot of KC copies and also oakleaves copies on eBay. Also a few too many PLM that are clear fakes. I love how usually the seller says something liek they dont know if its real or fake but you judge by the pictures. Then provide a story about the item.

Oh well I guess as a buyer/collector you are responsible to inform yourself when it comes to that stuff and be prepared to find out not everything you own is genuine.

                Guys,
For the dagger/sword collectors, the fleabay stories are the best. I've heard this one more than a few times:

"My grandfather took the nazi's black handled knife, then stabbed him with it. The spots you see (rust) are the dried blood of the Nazi" or "the sword was used to cut off the head of the concentration camp commandant then taken home by my uncle".

Classic. You have to love the stories. If fleabay had a stories forum which required a paying membership, i'd definitely join if only for comic relief. But sometimes, if you put the story aside, a nice gem is there to be had...albeit not very often.

Apparently hes shown it to 3 "experts" and they have pronounced it as authentic..I wonder which experts they might be...I cant believe people are still happy to part with thier money based on such a description.

Would be nice if he disclosed the names of those experts.

He buys repro KC then leaves it outside for a month and sells them for 600 bucks......sounds like a cash cow to me.

The "800" on the cross looks rather like "BAD"
                      How cute and ironic
