    Cloth DK in Gold

Picked up a few items tonight indirectly from a Canadian vet's estate. Among them was this Cloth German Cross in Gold. This one isn't mint by any means. I'm assuming it's good, but I don't have much experience with these. The biggest problem with this one is it is missing the fabric that goes around the outside. i must say though these are nice items. Are the makers known on these? What does everyone think?

The rear. It still has the paper backing.

But what about the condition. Are these often missing the cloth material around the edge?

No, not often, as far as I know.

Is there any original cloth material under the badge. Should be. Or is this color the actual color, like tan?

Looks like there is a little left in the upper right hand corner.

                          Hello,

A good Heer/Waffen SS example that has seen a few moths.

Very precise moths, I must say. Nicely nibbling around the silver thread.

Doesn't matter, still a good one.

Do you think it is a DAK version?
