    Riker Mounts for EKs...

    Hello guys...

i know this post should be in another thread, but as we're all familiar with EKs and displaying them, what are some recommended sizes? especially the depth? and where would you recommend to get them, apart from Indian River?

Admin, if this is inappropriate, please move post. thanks.

    I like the 8" X 14 1/2" X 1", $5.50 ea. through Collector's House Co. (www.collectorshouse.com), e-mail: jeffreyebert@collectorshouse.com

You can fit 6-7 ribboned EKII's side by side, or 12-14 crosses laying without their ribbons.

I put some bubble wrap behind the filler in mine so the medals don't slide down when I put the cases on shelves. (Very old picture. )

        Military,

IMHO it's based on how many you have.

I use the 20 1/2 x 14 1/2 x1 1/2. They come with two sets of batting. I take out one, so the medals don't scrape the glass. Also, I am working on lining them with red and black crushed velvet. Makes the EK's stand out and is beautiful.

Here's an example (my humbly small TR collection)
This ones in Imperial Blue, (Originaly made for WWI stuff)

As long as we are on the topic...does anyone know of a Canadian outlet?

          Regards,

            George,

Magnificent display! You certainly have some nice members in the EK family. I understand you have a 'heavy 20' without the flaw in the sunburst. Very nice badge. Thank you for sharing this display.

There are some serious EK collections being gathered here!
Any chance of some close ups of your cases please Grueni? What information do you have on the labels under each EK?
