    Wide-frame '24'

    Hi all,

I just wanted to show off a new addition to my collection. The dark even patina really 'widens' the flanges of this cross.

        Thanks guys,

I have a couple others that are very rough. They don't hold their paint well, at least my other two haven't.

I'll trade that 24 with great patina for my shiny shiny 24 with perfect core any day Robert..

Well, I may take you up on that, Friedrich. That's quite an offer. You better think it over. I've a fairly nice framed '24' but the core is pretty rough...

You're a good closer, but I think I'll hang on to this gem. I too like the darker, aged pieces. Either mint or lots of patina.

Nice cross Robert and with a nice clear makers mark as well, I like it.

Excellent cross, Robert! I think I have a very similar patina-ed '24' stashed away somewhere. Definitely a keeper.

                      Regards,
                      Kevin

Hi Robert! Are there any markings on the jump ring of this? I just purchased one with a clover mark on the jump ring.

                            Robert,
Here's my 24 we talked about earlier.. Pic's uploaded from my mobile, so it's not so great.. But the frame is shiny shiny, plated brass.. By the way, did 24's come with frosting? Does anyone know?
                            All the best, FW

Here's the "acorn" on the small ring of one of my 24s.
