Help needed with EK2 maker

Hi

I have just joined this forum. I used to have a large collection of WW2 German militaria but hit financial difficulties in the 90's and was forced to sell it off. I'm back on my feet and getting back into collecting again. I have bought a few pieces recently including this EK2. Can anybody help with a maker? There are no markings on the ring sadly.

Hello Paul,
Welcome to the forum. Any chance you can post some straight on close up shots please? The EK seems to have a large ribbon ring which puts me in mind of a '15', Friedrich Orth but I could be wrong. Is the small suspension ring attached to the frame on just one side?
I'm not at home right now so can't be much more help but hopefully one of the other guys can shed some further light on it for you.
