Yes it came from the hoard.

Make sure you do not pay to much for it around £32/€40 would be about right

No not too much.I paid 50$.I know that this is common award but I like kvks and that little guy is preserved in perfect condition.

If you're going to have a good 'beginner medal', you'd may as well have the very best. Nice set! No doubt part of the Descher horde.
