help to Id an EK2 Maker

    Ace thread

    I'm searching throw the forums looking for info on my EK2 which arived today
    and i stunble on this Ace Thread

    I think mine may well be a 76? what ever one of them may be

    I no mine was awarded early 1940 if that any help

      Do you have any pictures, ....... that will tell a lot .
      I am not sure if 76 had their licence that early ?

                  I no nothing about a S&L EK2.....but its good fun learning, it was brought as part of a grouping

                  I guess its imposible to tell if the maker matches the date of isue?

                    From what I can see - it would match that issue date .
                    Is the ring marked with a 4 , may not be easy to see .

                      Re checked the ring and still cant see anything, i will check tomorow in better day light

                      The Citation was signed by Otto Ottenbacher on the 13,11,40 ive made a post in the docs forum if u want to have a look. The owner belonged to Panzer grenadier Grossdeutschland

                        You need a good magnifying glass . One of these 2 types of '4' to look for , if it is marked , not all are .

                            Picture did not take last post .
                            On top is the fat -dimple- 4 that barely fits on the ring , that was replaced soon
                            with the small skinny 4 , for the rest of the war . Note: 4 can face in all directions .
