    bob when you display your medals what do you do with the issue wrapper.i put mine in a draw below my display case.should i leave them in the wrapper and put them in the draw

      If the issue envelope comes with tissue paper, I put the tissue inside the envelope. I then place the envelope into a frame or Riker mount that is lined with archival acid-free rag backing. I can then display all of the envelopes as well as the decorations, themselves.
      Before I do this, I take photographs of the medals (which have since been tagged) with their respective envelopes, in case I need to re-match them later, for sale or trade.

            Hello,

            i think the idea of taking photos with the medal and the envelop that it originally came with is a brilliant idea for re-sale later or for reference!
