    EK2 maker

    Hello gentlemen I just purchased this ek2 from a fellow collector on the forum awards table .He does not know the maker and I don't know either it does not have a makers mark Can someone please ID this beautiful ek 2 maker .

            It could be an EK II by Deumer or maker 23.

            Please make a close up from the numbers.

              It looked to me to be possibly a '23' as well by the frame, but the core had a thinner swas than is usual with this maker. It looks more like the swas of a Zimmermann, but that would be very unlikely. BUT, I do have a numbered '23' with a Meybauer core! So, who knows? Closer photos of the date would be good to give it a positive ID. Here's my '23'/Meybauer...
