1939 EKI Question

Hello Gentlman,

I recently attended the Lowell show and was shopping EKIs , and one that was offered was marked Soligen on the pin? The piece looked original I had no issues with it other than the Soligen on the pin. Has anyone ever seen this before. Comments appriciated.

Very interesting. Out of curiousity one would have to ask why an EK would be marked Solingen. Kind of like a German dagger being marked just Ludenscheid. Very hard to make a logical connection. Can you post a picture?

Where there any manufacturers of awards, of any kind, based in Solingen? Was this stamped, engraved?

Hello Gentleman,

Thank you kindly for the responses, the badge was offer by Robert Condor, for those of you that know Robert he is a very reputable dealer and a great guy as well. The mark was stamped in the center of the underside of the pin. I do not know how to get in touch with Robert other than the shows , so pics are not possible from me anyway. Does anyone else know how to contact him? This apparently would be a nice addition to photo archives as well as dicussion.
