    EK2 "Lazy 2"

I was quite surprised when I turned this over and found a "lazy 2" on it. I have not bought it as a MM EK2, so I was very surprised. I did not bother to look at it, before today, when it was flipped over.

    What do you think?

    Best Regards

This is not Juncker Iron Cross. I think someone is having fun with number punches.

You might be right. I comes from this bar, I just turned it over a discovered the "lazy 2". The question would be, how fun is it to make a punch and not trying to make a profit from it? Off course anything is possible.

You say it´s not a Juncker. Do you by any chance know the maker then?

                Best Regards

There is no difficulty in finding metal stamp sets, in any size. Any company with a CNC machine can make any custom die you would want.

Here are factory direct die stamps in sizes from 1/32 of an inch:

                  http://www.hittmarking.com/SteelStam...neMarking.html

A google search for steel stamps will find you thousands of suppliers.

There are many who add numbers to medals to increase the price.

Maybe you are right and peace with that, but making some extra bucks is not the case here. I bought is as a bar with no description of a MM EK2. Just a metal bar with EK2, WH Memelland.

I would be very satisfied if someone knew what maker it corresponds with. Off course I get excited, who would not. And a good way of letting it go, is to know the maker, if it´s not a juncker
