    RK KVK w/o swords opinions

    Good Morning All,
I'd like to get some opinions of this RK if possible. The pics are not great and they are at a bad angle. I just would hope someone might be able to point out a some aspect of it showing that it was bad or good. I will be able to get some better pics, hopefully this week (weight and measures also). Until then, please let me know what you think. Many thanks in advance,
    Sincerely Andy B.

Oh yeah, its supposedly marked "900" and "1" on the bottom, I just can't seem to see it.

Difficult to tell at that angle, you need photos dead on to determine the detail. The asking price might be a give away?

Hard to say but the number "1" in 1939 looks a bit odd on the pictures.

I would pass on this one.....but better pictures can tell another story!

Never seen this "ribbed" part (see marked area on the picture) on a marked Deschler rkkvk w/o swords.

Thanks for the opinions so far. Monday (or Tues.) I'll try and post some head on shots.
Peter, thanks for pointing out the attachment point detail. Thats the exact kind of info I'm looking for.
As for price, its going to be in an auction. The bad thing is 90% of the items in the auction are bad.

and this included! I dont like the ribbed suspension loop, the thickness and poor quality strike (almost looks cast).

                          Ok guys,
I just left the auction house and got some measurements on the cross. Unforturnately I forgot my camera so no pics (age is getting to be a b$tch).
Height (to the suspension loop) is 58.65mm
                          width is 52.92mm
thickness at the center (swastika location) is 5.33mm
thickness of the 6 o'clock arm is 2.53mm

                          weight is 32.5gr.

I was able to get good look at the mm and silver stamp and they were very tiny (almost unperceptable). From what I could see they did not look anything like George's example.

As always, I do appreciate the time you guys have taken to help on this. I am not planning on bidding on it, but I will let everyone knows what it goes for.

                          Thanks again!!

                          Andy B.

Oh yeah, the ribbon felt new and had black tie ons (if that helps)
