Who is this Knight Cross bearer?

Nice painting, he's wearing a Prussian Pilot Badge and the middle ribbon on the feldspange looks to me like the Hausorden von Hohenzollern.

Could be either - traits from both..Here's the medal from the painting..

it being a painting it's really futile..it has both traits..

yeah, i think if u can get the painters name found that will be more useful.
i tried googling "Anton ..Hack..." but no results.
the painters name isnt clear...

He's a very popular portrait painter of that time-he googled easily..Can't find a list of his sittings..

I figured after more than two years, I could bring this thread up again & see if somebody can help me ID this person now. Since the first pics in this thread somehow were deleted, I'll repost some.
