here are the packets...any idea whats written on the EK2 packet?

EK Packet
The reverse says Katz and Deyhle(?) Pforzheim....are the packets also made by the maker of the crosses? cause then mine would be an unmarked 60.....i suppose...i know for sure that the packet is origional to the cross..it was awarded posthumously and was tucked away for 60 yrs...the woman who gave it to my grandmother to give to me, is an old friend of hers from back in the "day"...her husband was an officer who fought at Smolensk..i have his wound badge in black, and IAB...her son and i were also playmates way back when i lived in Germany... -
I guess i can go the easy route and ask my grandmother if she knows her friends maiden name and that should tell me the name on the envelope..(the named cross belonged to her friends brother)...or even ask her friend what the name on the envelope is...Comment
