We'll wait to hear from others on the maker. It matches the files I have for Meybauer, but I can't post other's photos. The particular match I found in my files is a latewar zinc version, identical.

I believe this is 100% original, and always unmarked (not L/13, I call it the 'big eye')
I have this pattern down as the only original unmarked EK2 spange. They either never got LDO status, gave up production early, or never marked them, either way I'm sure it's a good one. I have one direct from the vet. Sweet.

Oh, I'm sorry, I was thinking it was a match to this zinc piece, which is obviously different in detail. The head and wings had me off, as well as the beak. This is an L/13, isn't it, jon?

I meant to say: I have this pattern down as the only 'unknown maker' of EK2 spangen. Of course there are many original unmarked spangen!
