    Clasp to the Iron Cross 2nd. class with two prongs

    Hi fellows,

    I have a Clasp to the Iron Cross with 2 prongs ... is it a fake?
    Never saw such one before.

            Looks like a good L/15, but with a slightly different date, and a few other things
            interesting
            could be an original L/15 variation, could be fake!
            Do you have any pics of the reverse? the split pin attachment

                          all I can conclude is that this is an L/15, but a slight variation on the norm.
                          I have not personally seen/noticed one like this before, but there is much evidence that other makers actually had more than one set of die (but same pattern) made using the same 'master die'. The differences being very slight, eg: different pebbling etc
                          This has all the overall main characteristics of an L/15
                          surely it's a good one?
