        Again using the forum data base, It is a 56..... There was no maker with 50 MM according to the data base, also your cross matches up well with the example cross in the base, although the 1813 date on yours looks a bit tilted and slightly different? Any other members have a thought?

          I think that this is marked "56" .I've never seen Ek2 marked "50" and I don't know if there was any maker who marked Eks "50"

                thanks george. I wouldnt have asked if only the 56 existed. Booth 50 and 56 are correctly listed in the forum database.

                      Looking at the MM I also thinks it would be a 56, or the "0" in 50 would be really small.

                      Just my 2 cents.

                        Looks like the tail end of the 6 wasn't struck on properly. I think the little stunted tail suggests a 6 as opposed to a 0
