Unmarked EK1 (can anyone tell the maker?)

Got this the other day. I've noticed some of you folks can tell a maker even though a cross is unmarked so I thought I would post a few photos to see what I might learn.

If indentifiable, can someone tell me what features provide the insight?

    Thanx in advance, Rick C.

              Rick,

To answer your original question on identifying a maker, we look at several features - portions of the beading, the date, the swastika and the pin assembly. Now that you have photographed and studied this cross an image has been imprinted into your brain, which will pop up again when you see another cross like yours. You'll recognize the pin, or you may recognize another feature that will stand out to you. I've always said the best way to learn the makers is to buy them, to spend time handling and photographing them.

BTW, thanks for providing excellent photographs.

              Robert
