    It looks like a peice I had a while back, same pin arrangment, but different on the front, i cant really tell to be honest

      Don, there are others I am forgetting, but what comes to mind with this cutout catch are: Orth, Schickle, Z. Zimm, S&L, etc.

        Robert the cross looks like your S&L but with another pin.

          Yeah I agree Andi, the cross itself looks to be S&L with an L/15 pin, im probably wrong but im learning all the time

            It's really hard to say without sure photos. The early S&L's with the non-magnetic cores had the round wire catch rather than the flat cutout catches, but there could have been carry-overs/transition pieces. Here's a shot of mine. Note, mine has a different hinge than the standard block hinge, which is on the one in question.

                        I think the pictures are fine ... it's just that the picture has been distorted by improper editing. Take Robert's picture for example.
