Repair???

How would one go about repairing a broken badge? The damage is superficial with the hinge having come off teh back of the badge. What types of "stuff" would be advised in its repair?

I would take it to a jeweler and have it soldered.

Durability of solder...

Is the solder strong enough to hold it together? Also I have two others that were broken and I have the pieces from them luckily, one is a black wound badge ans the other is an Infantry Assault badge, what should be done with those? Liquid Steel, would that work?

Hello!
My Golden CCC is has its catch soldred on and it works fine
I have never used liquid steel or any thing like that but I know there are some people on this forum hwo know

repair

I used loctite its a two part metal bonding glue very strong and the glue can always be removed if you want the badge to be org. I picked this up at lowes
