    Vet Haul HELP!!!!

    Hi
I've just been with an old vet, wanting to sell his war souvenirs... sound familiar?
    get's better!
He was in charge of 'valueables' at numerous POW camps, and obviously swiped the lot!
he showed me 24 RKs all packed together with paperwork, 5 oaks and a huge pile of badges and Eks!
He said, make me an offer, then said: oh just have them!!!!!!!!!!!
    what do I do???!!!
I will post pics as soon as I've downloaded them (minutes hopefully)
    regards
    jon

The problem was the "24 RK's" and the "paperwork".

Now, if you had said 2 or 3 RK's, that would have been something else again.

I do in fact know a collector who aquired items from the son of a veteran who had a job in the prison at Nuremburg. His function was to remove medals and insignia from the uniforms of prisoners or witnesses. And there were a lot of medals and worn SS cufftitles among his souvenirs, and that is true.

There is also the case of the The GI who took them from the files of some famous names, Skorzeny included
