    ek2 mm 8 mistaken fore mm 3 ????

    i have bin looking fore over 20 minuts..
    put it back ,,,came beack a nother round,,,looked 15 minuts.
    cant find out if it is a nother variasion to deumer or a ferdinant hofstatter
    and end up buying it.

    what is this cross or mm ,,a 3 orwe a 8 ?????

            That's not at all what I would expect a "3" mark to look like. It should be in incuse relief. Plus, this cross seems to lack the "hump" that a Deumer should have.

              a gambled on a mm 8

              and i didnt find pictures off a mm8 or the cross.

                The stamp sure looks like "8", but the only crosses I have seen so far with an "8" where tamped post-war....

                Not sure when this mark was applied...

                            Hey Kay!

                            I've been going through my collection to see if I can match it up with any other cross.. My collection does not contain all makers though, pretty far from actually , but no real match what I can see.. The number design with the long top parts of the ones (1), the swaz and inner parts of the frame is what I've been looking at primarily.. I have to ask you, is that a big die flaw on the 6 o'clock arm, both front and back?

                              If it is a die flaw, it does resemble a mm 123 cross shown here (post 57 and 58) IMO: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...&highlight=123
