Is this Spange original?

I know very little about these pieces. I know it is denazified however I would still appreciate any input as to its originality

does it bend?
i think it only looks cast due to soft details from wear etc. Any minute bubbles/inconsistences?

I think why noone else has replied is that it's hard to tell from these pics one way or another...
bending isn't a 100% foolproof fake-test, but it's a start. It looks like zinc which shouldn't bend so easy. Does it look like a clean/crisp die strike?

I'll give it a shot.
Based on these pictures I think it looks like a cast copy, that is also based on that it does bent.

But as Tinmantis also says, better pictures are needed to say for sure, wether this is an original spange or not.

yes the pictures aren't the best as the details are better in the hand: the feathers on the wings have fine a 'vein' running down the middle of them etc but these are not picked up on the pictures i have.

but the metal is very soft: the spange bends fairly easily and this cannot be good which ever way you look at it I believe.

got this in hand today, looks better than the pics, but I'm sorry to say it's a cast fake.
I can imagine that even when originally made it looked pretty impressive with a silver wash, good details for a cast, and believeable pins, denazified to add further 'authentic' mystique too!
well, it's always good to be 100%, sorry.
