    Ek2 Mm 84

Here's another 84. Last time I posted one of these it was declared fake:

But I thought I'd post the latest one I've run across. Love the sloppy 1939 date! Ausgang

Could this be of Spanish manufacture? Why would someone make these and then put a bogus MM on it that proves its a fake????

I would guess because a new collector might know crosses are MM'ed, but not by which manufacturers. The less-than-scrupulous seller could say "It's maker marked!!!" and earn a few extra $$$.

The frame shows good, but the core and especially the numbers are very suspect. Please show us the backside and a closeup of maker's mark.

IMO it's never a spanish made EK II, because they are one piece EK II's.

It does not have the same core as the other one you posted . This one has a faintly 'faned' 1939 which the the 1st one has a straight date . Do not like the date either and the ridged paint on the Swastica ! Does it have that small metal dot on the front lower left corner on the bead step ?

              reverse

It looks to me like the jump ring is in the wrong place altogether, busting into the first beading step. No photos of the mm. I assume that its the same as the one in the first thread.
