I don't own an L12, and I am certain that Brian is much more of an expert than I am. However, having a great deal of learning ahead of me I try to carefully study the pieces posted here. To me the details on the cross seem somewhat soft. The sword blades have different profiles when viewed from the back, and the soldering seems somewhat sloppy. In addition a lot of the detailing seems relatively rough when compared to other crosses. Is this usual for the 900 L/12?

I always found the Juncker crosses not so fine as the Meybauer ones. These crosses marked L/12 are a bit less executed as the early CEJ 900.
Nevertheless it retains all the expected details of a Juncker cross: swords wide grips, eagle's form, pin hook and hinge. I really see no issue with this one.
