    Ek2 and Ek1 case opinions

    Hello guys
    Can you tell from the photos if the cross and case look ok?? I know the case photos are not what you need to see but this is all I have been able to get so far. Boy these people freak out when you ask them to take the insert out!! Thanks in advance . David R.

            From what i can see the EK is ok, maker? up to George.
            Case!, well looks like the seller did try to take the inner
            out. I cant see any bad but i recomend to ask for garantie.
            Any pic off the case closed?.
            One more! the inner part do seem to be low in the case like the new remake. If its not easy to take out alarm bell!.

              Way to difficult to tell from the pictures, as for it being easy or not to come out..................uummm I'd be sceptical to always take that for granted, but a fair point!!

                I know! some can still be glued solid.
                I have made damage both to real cases an if you look on my resent tread to bad ones also. But 90% off the real ones is easy
                to get the inner out.

                        the EK looks well worn and not stored in "climate-controlled" conditions,
                        and the case a bit beat, but it will be a nice set for someone's collection.
                        it really does have "character"!!

                          Ouch...

                          Gentles all... please dont pull your lovely EK1 and RK cases apart and damaging them...this should be the last (ultimate) resort.
                          First try the "smell" test. The old glues and materials left a lingering smell of what I can best describe as "old Tom cat"...Try it out, and you will see what I mean.

                            Well i dont think its so bad to make shure you have an orginal case.
                            Even fake cases smell TOM CAT or what it is. Now to get 100 shure about the case look under the cardbore for stamps like 621KB or nr
                            ???? and D/B in an oval.

                              Hi,It's kind of hard to smell or feel ETC: over the Internet! In most cases the insert comes out with out even trying very hard,If it does not come out very easy I don't mess with it. It's not the end of the world to ask some one to see if it comes out to take a look, it's hard to lay down a 100.00 bucks with out some kind of proof
