    Colonel Freiherr von Gersdorrf

I believe this officer was heavily involved in the attempt to remove Hitler, he was an intelligence officer of the German High Command at one time attached to Army Group Centre. Ideally I would like to know when he received his RK. At Falaise he was
instrumental in advising his superior to evacuate before the
annihilation of the German forces therein. He survived the war and died in 1980, this man was amazingly overlooked after July 1944...luck , suicides and shootings all contributed to his survival.
Any photos of him ,especially with his RK would be greatly appreciated.

The subject became a Gen. Maj. on Jan. 30th, 1945 and was awarded the German Cross in 'silver'! He retired to Koln in 1957.

Thanks guys....I was particularly interested to learn he had earned the DKS !!! Somewhat ironic seeing as he tried to blow Hitler up in 1943 in Berlin !!!!!!

          Cheers Kyle
