The verdict then was that it was an original.
Based on this pics I would go for it.

Jeff, search for a post by Munster, as I believe he posted one like this within the past two months. If it wasn't him there was one posted and I believe they said that it was a Deumer. Jim

It's a good one and a fairly hard to find example.

If my memory is right Detlev has this type in his second price guide.
