      Seba,

That's a beautiful complete set... wow! I am speachless. My compliments!

Did it come from another collector or from a dealer? ...I am not trying to be nosy... I am just curious!

      Ciao,

      Claudio

Thanks for the compliments folks. Claudio, this came from another collector who was a true gentleman.

As I've come to find out, a lot of these things take place not on the table of the show or hitting frantic a "buy now/place bid" button, but calmly in the comfort of closed doors.

          Wonderful group. Great photos.

As I have told you, I am very envious.

Seba, any photo of this cross being worn? I wonder because of the very short bit of ribbon; really not much to be left in a case!
Usually a 10-12" bit of ribbon and as little as a 4" section was used ...most of those that I have seen leave a longer section of ribbon in the case....
And, a K&Q sure would be easy to pick out on a photo!

The piece of ribbon that came in the case is 5 1/2 inches long, I actually have another 15 inch piece as well. But to answer your question, I don't have a picture of the cross being worn - but I would love to find one. I have only recently started to properly photograph and research this unit/group.

                  WOW !!!

                  Terrific group!!!

Being stuck in the woods of Wisconsin, the only way for me to
see these kind of pieces is look at other peoples good fortune.

                  WAY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!

                    Hey Sebba,

Great grouping. I think its these groupings that bring the history 'alive' so as to speak.

                    Once again great group!

                      Yeah!

As jealous as I am, it's always inspiring and refreshing to see that someone has spend the time and money to put together a superb collection like that .

It really must just radiate history.

If it was me I would have a pack of very hungry dobermans guarding it.

                      Respect!
