A real EK1 RAPTOR spange?

Hey guys, what is your opinion on this raptor...I know they have a bad reputation, but I know some are also legit. This piece has no maker mark. The detail on the piece is a nice sharp detailing, ie not like the crude cast look that you see on some of these....I did a search and it does not match up to any fakes, the pin looks close to what I have seen on known original raptors, John

Seba...how about one post per 30 seconds allowed vs the one per ever 60 seconds...with my new dsl I can post pix faster but the system blocks me from more than one every 60 seconds?

Make a careful comparison between the stippling around the date numbers and the swaz on your piece and the stippling on this (bad) one, and I think you'll see that yours is..... the Raptor-footed Fake!!

HI George...I think you are right...it does look the same as the one you posted...I was confused by the pin assembly though, but it does match up closely with the fake raptor..the piece I have does seem to have a better detailing to the chest, ie the vertical lines are sharper, but this may be just due to the finish being more worn on the one you have shown, or maybe mines was made earlier than the one you have pictured hence the die was not as worn, John
