    Ran across an EK2 that is marked '24' - then after the '24' is a verfy clear 'O' - any thoughts / commnets? Double marked???

    I haven't seen anything like what you mentioned. Could you post a pic?

      Are you sure its not 140?. I know its hard to tell maker nr on EK2 rings
      and i do recomend a magnifying glas whit 8x or more.

        Sadly all of my attempts at becoming a paying member have failed - living in Hungary wiht US banks will make doing things on line a mess. I have looked at it with a 10X loupe - the #24 is clearly stamped - almost incised in a box - then completely separate from that - about 1.5mm after it is a 'O' that was made with a different tool and type of stamp all together. Sadly the last owner - interested in its cool value on a chain around his neck - scraped off all the black pigmnet form the core.
