Can I have your opinions about these two KVK crosses
I start with 1 Kl marked 62 with box. Also when it was made?

To start with both looks good to me, no problems

The kvk1 is a late war zinc cross. I'll check with my crystal ball....hmm it says May 23 1944 around 2 pm. Naah, just joking but the second half of the war.

I'm not a case expert but I believe the case is from earlier on. Cross with details on the lid, round push button etc. I also think the cross and the case have been brought together. MM62 cases are usually marked on the inside of the lid - I lifted the pictures from the e-stand - but if all were, I'm not sure. Anyway it's a nice case and a good home for your cross.

The kvk2 is harder. There's stil some bronze tone left and I would say it's an early war cross, first half. Nice cross with a lot of detail left.
For the maker you'll have to rotate the big ring and look on both sides for a maker number. If there's not a number it doesn't matter. A lot of kvk2's are unmarked and that's the way it is.

Thank you this is the information I searched for! There is no mark on the KVK 2kl. Ring.

About the box: It is written in handwriting under the lining of the top half of the lid “062”
I took some pictures of the bottom of the case. You can see them here. In the bottom of the case itself it is carefully stamped 2420 and an inverted “N” as you can see beside D&B inside an oval. In handwriting it is carelessly written wit a pencil either “062” or “162” as you can see.

Does this gives any clues about the history of the box?

Under the “cushion” it is stamped 2597 and D&B inside an oval.

The mark I talk about is like the one below.

Otherwise I have a couple of similar cases like yours in my files and from the look of yours, glue, stamps etc it looks like a good one.

Like I said earlier on, I'm not a case expert so what the the numbers and stamps mean, no clue. Try maybe to post it in the case forum.
