Opinion on Oversized EK2

I only got one EK2 and while reading this thread i wondered about bout the size of my 65 Klein & Quenzer EK2.

Rim outside 44.4 mm
Rim inside 31.6 mm (left to right)31.7 mm(up down)
Rim width 3.9 mm

Do all K&Q EK's have these measurements,if yes does that mean every EK maker had his own sizes?

I'm not intoo EK's so any thought are welcome

Hi Richard,

Long time no hear. The measurements you are giving are correct for a 65 marked K&Q EKII. I can’t say that all K&Q had these measurements because I didn’t measure them all but I suppose the all were very close to the one you are giving.

Of course all the manufactures of the EKII had their own measurements but they all stayed within a certain range.

I also have a slightly larger sized EK2 that is not an Ubergrosse. The diameter of the arms is 45.23 mm and it has the same ring attachment as yours. Detlev is now selling these as a variant for a higher price - Carsten Baldes has one for sale as well.
