in my opinion the cross is 100% genuine. the shape is typical for c.f. zimmermann or godet.

Thanks all! I thought it looked like a Zimmermann as well, but there were a few points that looked different, even in these photos. I appreciate the feedback!

I check in on Manions once in a while, this time around thier are some real nice goodies.No comment on the RK, not qualified to advise on these.

There is a lot off dealers in Germany that have KC´s for sale and they do have a better warranty if i dont like it.

I'm curious about that as well--also, how can you tell that the case is bad from the image?

The case is very sloppy in its manufacture is the first hint. The ribbon does not appear to have the correct weave and the cross is just plain wrong...to include the ring and the shape of the numerals!
